This hotel is a hidden gem in a small picturesque village, with stunning views over the River Trent. The rooms on the first floor offer a nice view of the water and fields, creating a homely atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident with the offer of a splendid lemon cake on arrival and the availability of crystal champagne flutes. The breakfast is delicious, with homemade marmalade and eggs from their own chickens.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was perfect.

Bright and updated room, lovely beds, gorgeous breakfast. The hotel is cosy and fairly clean with fabulous staff. Perfect location to Saint Chads Church.

Cleanliness: The hotel was immaculately clean throughout our stay. Location: This city is a small picturesque village with a beautiful canal and is in easy travel distance to Derby. Transportation: The hotel is conveniently close to the motorway, making it easy to get around. Breakfast: The breakfast provided at the hotel was delicious and satisfying. Excellent service, warm welcome with tea and delicious mince pies. Comfortable room and splendid breakfast with black pudding on the menu. Helpful staff provided useful dinner suggestions. Impressive overall experience.
